After more than 15 years of refining her technique, Minneapolis born Rita Pearl Lerman, has found national success with her unique and original designs.  Rita found her medium by combining vibrant colors and texture that can be created with acrylic paints.  While her repertoire includes many contemporary subjects, Rita has found her niché in painting sophisticated and funky shoe art—the object of her desire.  Shoes have their own personalities and tell a story about their owner. Exploring, interpreting, and understanding her fascination with shoes, is what Rita continues to pursue in her work.  Each finished painting is the stepping stone to the next work.  Rita truly believes that the leisure of a home is an art form.

Gaining recognition at the Licensing Show International in New York, her designs are on industry-leading Icon shoes, handbags, and fashion accessories, Giclee’s, luxurious pillows, greeting cards, and paper posters.
